MUMBAI

One of the world’s top ten centers of commerce, Mumbai is the financial and entertainment capital of India. Lying on the gorgeous Konkan coast of India, Mumbai is a melting pot of many cultures and offers great diversity. Mumbai is the home of “Bollywood”.

You will enjoy the city tour which will consist of the Gandhi Memorial, Prince of Whales Museum, Gateway of India, Marine Drive and a “Bollywood” tour.

We will visit an orphanage and a school for under privileged children to distribute school supplies and donate books, a loving gesture of humanity. Your stay in the city has been arranged at the Taj Mahal Tower. This Hotel is the icon of Mumbai. It overlooks the majestic gateway of India. The Taj Mahal palace and Tower was opened in 1903, giving the birth to the country's first harbor landmark. The Taj offers a rich history with modern facilities.

JAIPUR

 Jaipur is called the Pink City; it is a capital of Rajasthan. It is acclaimed for its rich culture and tradition. Beautiful palaces, forts and colorful bazaars speak of the Pink City Jaipur’s glorious and regal past. Modernity walks hand-in-hand with history in Jaipur. This largest city of Rajasthan, founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, is famous for its magnanimous hospitality.

The shopping and sightseeing experience is amazing in the magnificent Pink City. You will visit the Amber city, the old capital of the Jaipur rulers, where you will enjoy an elephant ride from the foot of the hill up to the fortress of the palace. You will visit the Palace of Wind, City Palace, Birla Temple and Jai Singh’s Astronomical Observatory.

DELHI

Delhi is the capital of India and the largest city in the terms of area, 573 square miles.
Delhi is a city built and re-built seven times over several centuries. The capital city today marries the quaint and unique elements of different historical eras with the pace of the bustling, growing economy. At every turn of the road, the past and the present coexist.

Here you will enjoy sightseeing tours of Old and New Delhi, including visiting Raj Ghat - the site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

KHAJURAHO

Khajuraho, once the capital of the Chandela Rajputs, is the site of the largest group of medieval temples in India. Built in a burst of creative genius from 950 to 1050 AD, the size and sheer beauty of their carvings are as intriguing as the question of why and how they were built. Forgotten and unvisited until the Mid-1960s, the Khajuraho temples are now one of the most popular places to visit in India.

In the evening enjoy a sound and light show at the Western Group of temples. The light show paints a picture for visitors of the life and times of the great Chandela Kings and tells the story of the exclusive temples from the 10th Century to the present day. It is a fascinating and beautiful 50-minute show.

Your stay in the city has been arranged at The Lalit Hotel Khajuraho. Khajuraho is a UNESCO world heritage site dating back to 950 AD and is famed for its sculptures. The Lalit Temple Hotel Khajuraho is located close to the airport and overlooks the western group of temples.

VARANASI

Varanasi, formerly Banaras, is one of the most important pilgrimage sites in India. It is known as the spiritual capital of India. The Ganges River, where it flows through the ‘eternal city’, is believed to have the power to wash away the sins of mortals. Mark Twain once said: “Banaras is older than history, older than tradition, older even than legend and looks twice as old as all of them put together”.

For the Hindu, the city has always been a special place, and it is considered a particularly auspicious place to die, ensuring an instant route to Heaven.

In the evening we will go down to the banks of the River Ganges to witness the “Aarti”, a Prayer to the mother river, conducted every evening by five priest on the banks of the river. It is truly a spiritual experience to witness.

We will be doing some service work here by giving back and feeding poor families a hot meal. This is a beautiful and connecting experience, it is wonderful to see the smiles on their faces.

We will travel back to Delhi and stay for 1 night to relax and to get ready for the flight back to your home destination. 

There is an additional 3 day/4 night trip to a special spa in Kerala at the end of the tour as an option, which we will fly out for the next day. This is an opportunity to close out this deeply connected retreat in a peaceful and beautiful environment, allowing you to reflect on the impact of your experiences while relaxing in a tranquil spa.

KERALA

Kerala is a state on India’s tropical Malabar coast. It’s known for its palm lined beaches and backwaters. Kerala is known as God’s own country because of the abundant beauty and nature.

When we arrive in Trivandrum we will be escorted to the Leela Palace Resort in Kovlam, an amazing property on the beach. The Leela also offers Ayurveda Massages, which leverage an ancient science of wellness and is a natural way of healing body, mind and soul.
